Visually Impaired Friends and Push Hands

Visually Impaired Friends and Push Hands

Mr. A, who has a visual impairment and is also a dialysis patient, is very physically weak. After participating in a gentle Tai Chi push hands training class, the coach utilized the principles of sticking, following, and maintaining connection, along with leveraging power effectively. This approach repeatedly engaged Mr. A's center of gravity, pulling him back just before he lost his balance. This training subtly enhanced his body's reflexes and developed his leg strength and sense of balance. More importantly, it built his self-confidence, encouraging him to come out and practice while interacting with others.
