原空位The Original Space Position
原空位是訓練身體鬆柔的最佳途徑之一。
例如腕關節在原來的空間位置不變(原空位),身體在進退轉換之間,不可牽動兩手的碗關節。當身體向後移動時自然會創造出空間,當身體往前移動時,自然會把空間填滿,而創造空間的大小與填滿空間的能力,及過程中身體肌肉、韌帶、筋骨、關節相互協調的能力,是判斷身體鬆柔的境界。
各部位動員的能力越強,身體就越鬆柔,所創造的空間就越大。故身體的肌肉、韌帶、筋骨、關節等部位,若能如同細砂與水一樣的鬆柔,自然能創造出更大的空間,也更容易把空間填滿,在推手技藝上展現「走化」的能力,及「以柔克剛」的技藝。https://www.facebook.com/suppletaichi/videos/1511712903115162
The Original Space Position
The Original Space Position is one of the best pathways to train the body for suppleness and relaxation. For example, when the wrist joints remain in their original spatial position (Original Space Position), the body must not disturb the two hand joints during transitions between advancing and retreating. As the body moves backward, it naturally creates space; conversely, when moving forward, it fills that space. The ability to create space and the capacity to fill it, along with the coordination of the body’s muscles, tendons, bones, and joints throughout this process, serve as indicators of the body's level of suppleness and relaxation.
The stronger the mobilization ability of each body part, the more supple the body becomes, and the larger the space created. Therefore, if the body’s muscles, tendons, bones, and joints can achieve a suppleness akin to that of fine sand and water, they can naturally create greater space and more easily fill it. This quality is essential in demonstrating the ability of "yielding" and the technique of "overcoming hardness with softness" in push hands practice.
