Supple Tai Chi Push Hands4
Master Li Haohui, though now in his advanced years, remains deeply passionate about training in supple Tai Chi push hands.
Tai Chi is a treasure of Chinese martial arts, embodying the "Wu Wei" (non-action) philosophical logic of Laozi and Zhuangzi, as well as the principles of Yin-Yang transformation from the I Ching. The concept of "Wu Wei" is expressed in Tai Chi training through principles such as softness and relaxation, non-hand engagement, accepting losses, showing humility, yielding, and selflessness. The Yin-Yang aspect is reflected in the training through the distinction between fullness and emptiness in the legs, the movement and stillness of the hands, and the balance between hardness and softness in the body.
These principles form the essential foundation for Tai Chi techniques like "overcoming hardness with softness," "controlling movement with stillness," and "delayed action leading to earlier results."
